Wine Press
In the final section of Isaiah (63:1-6) the prophet returns to vineyard imagery to describe the day of the Lord. YHWH will be spattered with blood as He tramples the nations in His anger. Let’s visit a wine press to consider once again how a place of rejoicing could also depict a place of judgment.
