Hypocrites. The word carries with it a sneer and a skeptical view of a person’s religious claims. In fact, religious people are still only people; people who are flawed, weak, and sometimes failing. The question is, can someone experience times of spiritual failure and still truly be a person of faith? In this course, we will examine ten converging lines of evidence that can give clarity to a confusing issue, “Ten Reasons to Believe Real Christians Can Look Like They’re Not.”
- To introduce students to the basic fundamentals of the Christian faith.
- To provide scholarly and historical evidence for the validity of Christianity.
- To encourage logical thinking in evaluating the authenticity of the teachings of Jesus and of the Bible.

This course gave a very thorough explanation of the subject matter. I was drawn to this course to learn more about Christians who do not appear to be Christians and I feel much more equipped in my thinking on this issue.

I recently enrolled in Artos for the first time because something in a daily devotional piqued my interest and lured me in. :) Since I had to pay to finish the course, I looked for other courses and this caught my eye. It's so good, I created a document for myself to allow for regular reflection. I am eager to share this with my home group as it's one of the best lessons on reaching non-believers and not looking like hypocrites. I very much liked the format, especially the lectures and "digging in" sections.

I liked the video presentations. It seems to make it more real. I wanted to put my feet in the Lake of Galilee too. Very helpful course. Thank you.

I've already recommended this course to others. The readings were outstanding and meaningful, and very reinforcing to what I believe. Thank you so much for the opportunity to study this way. Just uplifting during these COVID times!

Thoroughly read this course, which exposes the weakness and self-centeredness and makes you examine yourself, if you are walking on God's path or your own path.

Good information to keep pondering. All 10 reasons to believe courses are excellent.
-
This was my first course under the certificate program. I was very pleased with it.

The opportunity for deeper study was wonderful. The questions for personal reflection had depth and a bit hard to answer. It was a course that definitely gave me some in-depth wisdom into the human race and how we think as individuals. I'm glad I took this course after completing 10 reasons to Believe the Bible. They seem to somewhat relate to one another. Excellent course. Glad I chose to take it.
