The book of Romans is crucial to the understanding of salvation and sanctification. In this course, students explore the rich truths of justification and other significant topics by completing an exegetical and theological study of Paul’s Epistle to the Romans in the Greek text. The course treats select historical, grammatical, structural, and lexical data that illuminate the meaning of this important New Testament document. One point I'd like to make is that throughout this course, the lectures have numerous Greek/non-English words with only a partial explanation of what they mean. It appears that these lectures were part of a classroom course where students had separately been taught the meaning of these words in another course, but for me it was difficult to understand them.

A very good grounding in Romans

I enjoyed this course. But as I said in the evaluation, I really found mostly that it is amazing how much the instructions I have received through my church, my reading, my Biblical studies was verified. What this course did for me was to help me pull together and synthesize much of what I have previously learned.

This one is not for the faint at heart. There's a lot of information to grasp here. But I am grateful. I would recommend that transcripts of these lectures be made available in the near future. As this is a most important study, I think an actual copy of the lectures for the purpose of referring to the teachings in the future, would be appreciated by many Bible students. Thank you for this offering.
