Bedouin Honor and Hospitality – Dr. Iain Pickett
Another aspect of the culture of the patriarchs is pastoralism—a traditional way of life that centers one’s identity on flocks of sheep and goats, and often involves seasonal moving for grazing. Our host is Abu Sabah, a sheikh in the area of Wadi Rum in southern Jordan. We will learn a lot from him in various lessons with the help of linguist, Dr. Iain Pickett.
