Parables of the Vineyard and Winepress
Use your VR goggles or scan around with your mouse to visit the living museum, Nazareth Village, where a first century winepress will give you insight into the joy and dancing of the fall harvest! The background for Jesus’ parables of a winepress is in Isaiah 5 and Isaiah 61. The harvest is an image of prosperity but also of judgment. Isaiah sees judgment coming for the nations and also for God’s people.
