Every invisible concept needs a visible metaphor and Scripture provides the remarkable metaphor of a shepherd. We’ve tried to capture the responsibilities of a shepherd leader through The Leader’s Shield, the shepherd leadership model that highlights the three pivotal elements of Provision, Protection, and Presence.
