Understanding the Bible: New Testament
The words New Testament don’t tell us a lot about the content of the New Testament. Actually a better title might be, “The Greatest Story Ever Told” or “How to Get Out of the World Alive” or “The Story of Jesus and His Salvation.” But we call it the New Testament because of its relationship to the Old Testament.
