To teach the knowing God’s will lesson. It is so important. I am putting in my plans so it will not be overlooked.

Because there are no cookie cutter solutions for life in our culture. They need to know how to discern truth and untruth, right from wrong, and God’s will.

Answering the question regarding prime reality gets to the source. It is important to answer the why questions when preparing and teaching. Sometimes we forget all about it, but if we use these guiding questions, they force us to answer why?

Flexible structures are excellent. Without structure the teacher and student flail about. Yet, rigid structures fail to adapt to the individual needs.

In my degrees, I have seen the constructivist approach. In most cases, I avoided it personally but I saw how it led others astray by putting individuals at the center of the universe so to speak. Everything is relative in their minds and that is not true.

We are all fallen and desperately need Jesus every day. No one has arrived. So, we are not expecting perfection, but rather redemption.

The Christian life is a process and it is an active relationship with Jesus. Scripture study is a key way of continue and enriching one’s relationship with Jesus.

I like going deep on a particular text and then studying connected texts while the Lord does something in my heart.

We must plant the Word in Children’s hearts. Their hearts are fertile soil.

I am not good at memorization, but I have memorized tons of scripture. It is a part of the Christian life to memorize and meditate.

You cannot be a Christian educator if you are not a true follower of Jesus Christ. You cannot impart that which you do not possess.

Personal testimonies, prayer, worship, biblical application, and more all combine to validate the reality of what we are teaching. Kids want the real deal, not just Christian jargon.

On a personal level, testify to the experienced reality of my personal relationship with Jesus. On a historical level, point out the legitimacy of the great volumes of testimony. Of course, I would point out Jesus’s claims about himself. How can he be a great teacher if you claim he lied about himself?

Infuse has a deeper meaning than integration because it cannot be teased out if it is infused.

His emphasis is upon knowing God’s Word over just knowledge…the bible is our primary source of truth.

Applying a biblical truth to a class topic or biblical perspective on a counterpoint to something in the day’s content.

Living life with the understanding that God is in all and above all and constantly communicating with us. So, by seeing God in every situation, it reminds us to teach a fully integrated class.
