I use the NIV mainly but there are times when will also use the King James Version.

The New International Version is more a common language for the culture.

I would suggest prioritizing knowing and loving God being primary.

I would then suggest growing up in God.

I would suggest serving God.

All three are essential however as with any relationship it requires a desire to love and know the person. The growing in your love and knowing the person leads to growing up in God which prompts one to serve God.
