Hmmm, I’d have to think long and hard about how to answer this question. I don’t think I’ve run into any obstacles when I pray. I usually don’t have time to pray before I start my day. I’ll have to make time for prayer.

Hmmm, this is a hard question, but, if I could choose one prayer, it would have to be the Lord’s Prayer, and the prayer that David prayed both in Psalm 23 and 51.

I would have to say Genesis chapter 3 where Adam and Eve eat the forbidden fruit from the tree of the knowlegge good and evil.

It means that He hears us and answers our prayers. For the last few days, I’ve kneeling by my bed in the mornings to pray for a friend’s ex husband and her children. Her x husband wants full-custody of their three children and wants his x wife to lose her parenting rights to their children.

Like Dr. Banks, I too love the story of Elijah.

I would have to say that I have two prayers that I like: I like Psalm 23 and the Lord’s Prayer. I learned these two prayers when I was a child.

I usually don’t have time to do devotions in the mornings, but, now, I think I’m going to start listening to my Thru The Bible talking Bible. I used to listen to Dr McGee in the mornings before school, but, had to stop listening to him when I lived in the dorm at the School for the Blind here in Colorado Springs where I live with my parents.

Bible study, prayer, and fellowship are all good practices for a Christian to have. God wants us, His people, to have a relationship with Him.

I never knew so much about Hebrew Poetry. Thank you Dr Buzzell for explaining it. Now I’m excited to read the entire Bible!

Like everyone else has said, the Jews were eventually allowed to go back to their own land and allowed to worship the one true God.

I love the story of David and Bathsheba. I believe that David deserved to be punished by God for what he did to Bathsheba’s first husband, Uriah.

When I had breast cancer, I asked the same question, but, in a different way. I asked God why did you allow this to happen to me? So far, I’m enjoying this course. I’m learning a lot about the Ols Testament.

We were all created to do God’s work. I believe that He wants me to be a Christian counselor for His disabled people before He calls me home to Heaven.

I never knew that the Old Testament could be broken down into four groups. I felt like I was learning something new. I was able to paint a picture in mind while I was listening to Dr Buzzell’s lecture both on my phone and on my computer.

I agree with everyone, it does make it easier to understand what I’m reading about. I can also paint a picture in my mind of what happened back in Bible times. Because I’m visually impaired, listening to the Bible on my Alexa device using YouVersion Bible helps me understand what Adam and Eve and Moses Joshua, and others went through in their own lives.

In John 4:23-24, we have Jesus talking to the Woman at the well. He is telling that she has had five husbands. The Woman is surprised that she is talking to a Jew and goes to tell everyone to come and meet the Man that just told her about her past. Not sure why, but, I think that both would be easy for me.

I agree with all the replies that I just read. I don’t know if I could have said it any better. I have never done a macro observation or a micro observation before. I really don’t have time to study a Book of the Bible on my own, because of my busy schedule.

My older brother Scott and I grew up using the NIV, so, I generally like to use the NIV for devotional time. Although, an x friend of mine told me that the KJV was the only true Bible and that I should use it instead of the NIV.

The Book of Revelation can be an interesting book to study. The letters of Paul, Timothy, James, Peter, Jude, Titus, and John are also interesting to study.

I agree with all the comments I’ve read so far, I think that the Gospels and Acts of the Apostles are great books. I especially like to read both Luke and Acts because they were both written by a doctor.
