How many times, do you use filler words like ums, ahs, etc..while speaking? Are you comfortable with moments of silence during a conversation? When you tell a story, do people seem interested or does all your details bore them and make them turn away? </p>

Using the inductive method to draw them in and allow the text to convince them rather than you making blanket statements that make them close their ears.</p>

Other times, I feel strongly lead to teach on a certain subject and so I will preach that specific subject.&hellip;</p>

Whether thats wealth, letters behind your name, etc. </p>

We have no authority in what we say except from the authority given to us by the Author of Scripture. </p>

However, a few times as male I have reached out my hand to shake hands with a female and she has not returned the favor, leaving my hand aimlessly hanging in midair until I discover the cultural norm of males not shaking female hands and vise versa. </p>

We expect things always mean exactly what they say, this can affect our view of reading scripture, as Scripture uses a lot of imagery to convey ideas. </p>
