On the other hand, we see a drastic change at the Second Vatican Council where those outside of the Catholic church are viewed as “fellow laborers” and admitting that there is salvation for non-Catholics.</b></p>

However, the Second Vatican Council led to mass being held in the vernacular language so that lay people could better engage in personal study of the Bible. But Paul and Barnabas disagreed with them strongly. This led to the convening of the Jerusalem Council. </p>
