Traditional psychotherapy looks at the damaged self which is someone hurting possibly by a bad event and the therapist has to come up with an understanding of that and repair it in some way.
Soul Care focuses on a stubborn soul with amazing potential as opposed to a damaged self, but still the problem has to do with stubbornness more than the damage.

Of the three don’ts; I have the tendency to give advice early on and not taking the time to listen and find out what is really going on in the other person and also what am I feeling at the time.

I am beginning to experience the way that I relate to others is what I want in their life.
My selfishness in my desire to get the results that I want is not necessarily what God wants.
By allowing myself to be totally immersed in Him, then I can be lead by the Holy Spirit to offer Soul Care.
