When it comes to big questions and concepts, this means we need to give them an opportunity to discuss, ask questions, and then do some critical thinking activities to help solidify the concepts. </p>

We actually use the Capturing Kids Hearts curriculum from the Flippen Group and it has a great framework for restorative discipline. I consistent point to the order in which mathematics provide and there is no way that those principals all fell into place by accident.  </p>

She invited my best friend and I to her house and gave us snacks. When she got pregnant with her first child she asked the class for suggestions on girl names. The parents and students can easily see what we are working on. They always know what is going on in class. I also send out weekly shout-outs to the students. Both the students and the parents appreciated it. </p>
